Life in China is very close to normal. Consumption is up, restaurants are packed, concerts are being held, and museums are open. Other countries should perhaps take lessons from China. That is, if you take aggressive measures and can bring the coronavirus under control, then you can return to life as normal, rather than living constantly under fear and restrictions indefinitely.
The Trump administration believes strongly in a foreign policy of “unilateralism” – that is, America’s interests should be forced on other countries and bodies rather than engaging in politics of compromise and consensus. This poses a threat to the United Nations and the cause of cooperative global governance.
America’s illegitimate unilateralism has not gone unnoticed by other countries, including its own allies. With every abuse of power, the U.S. is harming its image on the world stage.
Nevertheless, while the panel’s ruling is a setback for the United States, it is a victory for China, which will never stop working to safeguard its trade interests in a manner consistent with the WTO.
The theory promotes ownership in two ways. First, it calls for a bigger involvement of the Global South and its representatives in the U.N. human rights framework. Second, there should also be more room for approaches valued in the Global South.
The financial sector attracts some of the most visionary and clear-eyed risk-takers and decision makers. Their confidence in China’s financial services opening and reform should be a source of encouragement for those who see the value of greater openness and integration.

The release of the trailer for the eagerly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong, based on the traditional Chinese legends of Sun Wukong, aka the Monkey King, topped 10 million views on Chinese social media site Bilibili and 2 million views on Youtube, the latter being a watershed achievement for a Chinese release.
The resurgence of Chinese economy means a lot globally. As China is the world’s second largest economy as well as its global manufacturing hub, its growth can propel commercial activities around the world.
Human rights, including the rights to an education and employment, are vital to ensure a life worthy of a human being. However, they also lay bare the moral vision of a country and the type of people that country wishes to foster. What the U.S. is doing is both a tragedy and a travesty. It can and must do better.
In an uncertain world, Europe’s commitment to multilateralism is good for stability and acknowledges China’s growing role. Obviously, not all European countries, whether member-states of the EU or not, agree, and sometimes they chart their own foreign policies.
EU is opposed to the U.S. not only on the Iran nuclear issue but also on a variety of issues, including U.S. withdrawal from UNESCO, quitting climate change agreement and quitting WHO.
